Okkayy, in my language arts methods class we had to buy a notebook for our "writer's notebook". This writer's notebook isn't a journal. It's where you right things you notice about the world, things that inspire you... In mine, so far, there are a lot of song lyrics, quotes, and lists of my favorite things. I've also dedicated a couple pages to the greatest... One Tree Hill! I put my '100 Songs to Save Your Life" playlist that I posted earlier... I love this writer's notebook. We're supposed to be learning about how to incorporate a writer's notebook into our classes and the things that our students can write about, but I'm mostly just loving filling it with all my favorite things... I just wish I would have thought about a writer's notebook like this before now! If you have favorite quotes or things that make you who you are that you want to remember, definitely consider starting a writer's notebook for yourself. Find something that you like. I mean it can be a regular old composition notebook, it just needs to be something that you want and that you'll write in. I'm all about inspiration lately and it's helping build my spirits. Whatever it is just love something... Have passion for something. Anything.

Okay, today is not a good day. Anyway, my girls in class picked up on my down-in-the-dumps attitude and I was venting to Rhe about some things in my life and she told me something that she heard from her brother that really struck me. It's completely true and I never really thought about love and relationships like this but it was something along the lines of... Be with someone you want to be with not someone you need. I am a romantic. I've always believed that love conquers all and that everyone needs love. It's not just loving a person or being loved, but it's being in love with a person and sharing that mutual feeling that has always been so important to me. I guess important is a weird word, but it's always been there for me at least since I was 15. (or so I thought) Anyway, I've kind of changed my beliefs about love and I just love what Rhe said to me: Be with someone you want to be with not someone you need to be with. Controlling relationships are the worst and it doesn't have to be a physical controlling or even someone telling the other what to do, but just when you need someone they have a control over you even if they don't want to or mean to. I've been trying to get over that need in my life. I want to get to a point where I don't need anything or anyone so much that it changes or determines my life. I want to be who I am because of what I do and things I accomplish not because of what I need. Anyway, I still believe that love is something that everyone needs, but it all must happen at the right time. Timing is everything.

Well, just so everyone knows... My friends are the best!! I know everyone says that, but seriously my friends are the best! This Christmas break was so great! We had a blast! I got to see tons and tons of people I haven't seen in forever. Anyway, you already heard about break, but New Year's was pretty bitchin! We had the annual party at Haley's of course and we just hung out playing poker and pool and we rocked out on RockBand! It was so much fun even till driving home at 4am when it was 1 degree outside screaming in my car with Thomas! I am very excited for this year! One Tree Hill... The best show everr. Seriously. Okay, well at least season 1-6, cause I haven't seen the new seasons. Season 1-6 is an epic love story... About Lucas Scott and Peyton Sawyer. They go through everything together and they love each other through it all, but finally after years and years of on and off relationships and drama they end up together. Perfectly. OTH give me hope. It makes me believe in love, whether I want to or not. I have seasons 1-6 and I watch them every so often, more often than not. I just started season 3 today and it's amazing. This part of the series is when Haley gets back from her music tour and she's trying to get Nathan (her husband) back after she basically left him. Lucas and Brooke (Peyton's best friend) start dating again. And Peyton meets her birth mother.

Each episode begins and ends with someone on the show giving an introduction or well, a meaningful thought, if you will. These are usually the inspiring moments of the show. Here are some of my favorites...

I love One Tree Hill. Every time I watch it I feel inspired. I feel like I can accomplish things. I can move on from the bad and start with the good. Well, today was the first day of school for me.. 8 am sucked by the way. But I LOVED seeing all my girls and kinda catching up, while getting in trouble for talking.. whoops! As always, the first week of school is stressful and, well, for me its exciting. I feel like I get a fresh start whenever a new semester starts. I was especially excited for this one because last semester's grades turned out to be quite the win for me. I hope I can do as well this time... Today was stressful for sure! I hate it how professor go over ALL of the assignments for the whole semester in one day... usually in about an hour. It freaks me and everyone else out, plus their just going to have to explain it all again when the assignment is actually due. My brain just like overloads with all of this crap and it just stresses me out so after about 20

minutes of freaking out I just checked out of the whole discussion... Probably not good, but I just can't take it!

This week is a big week for me in other ways. Last week... Super stressful cause I'm a freak and worry about things that are pointless and well to be honest completely out of my control. But those few issues are gone now! It's a good and bad thing, but mostly good cause now I can just freak out about school and nothing else. Woo!

I am however very sad because my best friend in the WHOLE WORLD, Nate, moved down to Cedar on Saturday... January 1st.. Yeah happy friggin new year... He

's going to SUU and I hate it! Haha! It's great that he gets to move out and have some fun at school, but I miss him A LOT and its been like barely 5 days. Ha! BUT the upside is when Nate moves back and saves money, which I am currently trying to do, we are gonna get an apartment together and party all the time! YES!! And this gives me an excuse for a road trip every now and then! Which I LOVE even if it is to Cedar City... Anyway, here's a little "blog" cheers to my best friend Nathan Oliver Wolfe! Live the dream man! I'll see ya in a few weeks!
