I am through my second day of my first year of teaching and I am finally realizing the true love of it. The true reasons that I became a teacher. The true reasons for the stress. The true reasons for the sleepless nights after the 12 days. I. Love. Teaching. And I already love my students! So happy with the career path I chose and the way my life is turning out. Can't wait to see what happens next!

 I used fabric and bulletin board boarders for where I will put almost everything... I am thinking just student work on the yellow-maybe social studies stuff.

Those are the classroom and school rules, but I am changing that...

 I am putting up math vocabulary for each unit to keep up during the unit and until the test...

 Quotes from Presidents cause it is 5th grade ...

 Classroom Library... Putting chairs and quotes from famous authors on the wall...

 Reading Street - Students will access these books ALL DAY EVERYDAY...

 Thank you, Pinterest! I will have a basket where students can submit their work to go up on the "Proud Wall"...

 Birthday balloons - I laminated them and wrote on them with wet erase markers so that I can change them as needed :)

since when did music videos become cause for a movie?

Now, don't get me wrong, I love JB, and I love this song, but I don't understand the need to make this music video into movie with ridiculous acting and dramatic scenes with dark alley dancing... I swear the music videos for 90% of my favorite songs completely ruin them and take away from the actually decent lyrics... Word to the wise: if you have a great song and a pretty amazing voice... Just sing.
